The project involved excavation and drilling work over 210 kilometers in various city areas, developing modern broadband network infrastructure. 500 house connections were created using various optical network solutions, including FTTH (Fiber To The Home) – fiber optic connections directly to the home, which provide high data transmission speed and stability. The FTTC (Fiber To The Curb) solution was also used, where the optical cable is installed up to the nearest distribution point or street cabinet, from which the connection to the house is provided by the existing copper network. MBfD (Multiplay Broadband from the Distribution Point) provides multi-service broadband connections from the distribution point, combining several communication services in one infrastructure, such as internet, television, and telephone. These measures significantly improve residents’ and businesses’ access to high-speed internet connections, promoting the city’s digital development and preparing the network for the introduction of future technologies.
