In cooperation with Siemens Energy Oy, LEC completed two HVAC series capacitor stations—Hoikansalmi and Pihlajaranta—designed to enhance the capacity of 400 kV transmission lines and ensure grid stability in Northern Finland. LEC performed the installation of primary and secondary equipment, laid power and communication cables, assembled metal structures, and completed all electrical installations in control buildings, including control and relay protection systems.
