Year: 2026
Location: Gothmund, Germany
We have implemented a telecommunications network construction project in Gothmund, a historic fishing settlement in Lübeck located on the banks of the River Trave. The area has retained its distinctive historic buildings and traditional village character.
Gothmund’s historic environment and limited access routes also determine the organisation of the works and the choice of equipment used. Large-scale machinery is not suitable for the area. To carry out the works efficiently and to a high standard, we use mini excavators and electric mini dumpers. These solutions allow us to work in confined spaces with the necessary precision while minimising the impact on the surrounding environment. At the same time, the use of electric mini dumpers significantly reduces physical strain on employees and enables materials to be transported in a more ergonomic and efficient manner.
The project demonstrates that modern infrastructure can be developed even in a historic environment by adapting construction methods to the specific requirements of the location while preserving its unique character.
