This is a major infrastructure project involving approximately 150 km of network routes and 2,000 household connections. A key challenge is that a significant proportion of the works are being carried out in the active and busy historic city centre.
This requires careful planning and well-organised construction activities to ensure that the works progress smoothly while minimising the impact on the city’s daily rhythm, residents’ everyday activities and the urban environment.
