LEC, in cooperation with a partner, is constructing a battery energy storage system (BESS) with a total capacity of 8.4 MW / 16.8 MWh at the TEC-1 site in Riga. LEC is responsible for project management and design, as well as all construction, equipment installation, and switching works. The company is also implementing the relay protection system and integrating SCADA.
