LEC built a biomass cogeneration plant in Riga producing 4.4 MW of electricity and 20 MW of thermal energy. The company completed all works including building construction, steam boiler installation, and installation of heat networks and power cables, followed by commissioning. The project site was compact and required innovative solutions to deal with existing utilities. LEC ensured smooth coordination, organized the delivery and installation of heavy equipment, and was commended for its pace, quality, and professionalism. The plant reduces emissions, improves fuel efficiency, and contributes to local development.
