A significant digital infrastructure improvement project has been implemented in the region, installing fiber optic cable for 225 kilometers. Also, 2656 households have been connected, providing high-quality fiber optic network connections. Fiber optic technology provides much faster data transmission than traditional copper cables, as information is transmitted via light pulses in glass or plastic fibers. This network improvement will significantly increase the quality and speed of internet connections.
