As part of the coal transshipment relocation project, LEC constructed a 7,000-meter-long 10 kV power supply network, delivered and installed three 10/0.4 kV transformer substations (2×1000 kVA each), relocated three 28-meter-high lighting masts, and built a 2,000-meter-long 0.4 kV cable line. Frequent design changes requested by the client required a highly flexible approach and close collaboration with project designers. Thanks to effective planning, open communication, and timely execution, the challenges were successfully resolved.
The relocation helped reduce dust and rail congestion in Riga’s city center, improving the environmental quality and supporting sustainable urban development. The client expressed satisfaction with LEC’s work, highlighting the quality and adherence to timelines. Cooperation continues on other projects.
