LEC built a new traction substation on Fridriķa Street, located within the Rīgas satiksme tram depot. The project involved dismantling the previous structure, constructing a new substation building, and landscaping the surrounding area. New equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, rectifiers, relay protection, and control systems, was installed. Power and communication cable installation and equipment commissioning were also carried out.
