With the aim of developing data transmission fixed communications network infrastructure and providing broadband data transmission, over 16 years LEC has successfully implemented a series of Turn-Key projects both in Latvia and Germany. Broadband optical network infrastructure construction is a very complicated set of legal and technological processes. Projects are very dynamic, given the large volume of construction, which is usually accomplished in a relatively short time.

The biggest challenges in optical network construction are cable line route selection, technical project development, and coordination with landowners. Also, LEC’s long-term experience has always allowed choosing the right construction technology in complex situations. In total, LEC has built optical network cable line routes more than 3000 km long throughout Latvia, and not for nothing can Latvian residents boast of one of the fastest internet connections in the world.

Meanwhile, in projects in Germany, LEC had a great opportunity to learn the latest technologies in FFTX, FTTC network construction.
