We are proud to have taken part in the construction of the first 400 kV overhead transmission line in the Baltic States. Before this project, the highest voltage level built in Latvia and surrounding countries was 330 kV. The new 400 kV line connected Lithuania and Poland. LEC was responsible for the installation of insulators, conductor installation (three conductors per phase), conductor securing, installation of spacers, and loop connections on anchor poles. The total working length was 10.896 km. This landmark project significantly enhanced LEC’s expertise and competitiveness in the high-voltage sector.
